This blog entry is inspired by this dress I happened upon this morning. Made with close to 2,009 pieces of peacock feathers, the dress took eight sewers forty days to make, and can be yours for $1.5 million. This dress is intense.
The detail is actually really beautiful, but I’m not sure I know anyone who would ever wear this…especially with a hefty price tag like $1.5 million.
I did find more reasonable items that were peacock inspired. I think its a beautiful color palette, and if you are into feathers, could make for some beautiful accessories and decor.
