So we met with ‘a’ florist yesterday. I haven’t said THE, though who knows…we might choose her. We get a proposal from her at the end of the week, so if it all looks good, we will likely just eliminate the need to search for more and pick her (she came on recommendation).
I wanted to share a new plant I was introduced to…the monkey tail fern. Didn’t even know they existed! Pretty cool if I do say so, and they look great in bouquets! (She also said you can fry and eat them…though she never had tried)

those bouquets are really beautiful…i have eaten fiddlehead ferns too..they are yummy. but i do always question…who saw them and said…i should cook these up?

I love these! I *think* I might have them growing in my yard, but it’s such a jumble because the last owner planted so many perennials that I get confused and pull things that aren’t weeds and let scary looking weeds grow.
